The room smelled of lavender. Lace curtains draped along a large window overlooking vast vineyard. Slate blue gowns adorned the four bridesmaids as they stood side by side in the doorway. With jittery hands, they anxiously grasped each other, palm in palm. Beaming with excitement. She took one final look in the mirror, ran her hands down her tulle dress, took a deep breath and faced the four women who have watched her transform into the women she became, who watched her love story blossom into its happily ever after. "Are you ready?" They giggled and jumped with excitement. "Open your eyes!" They gasped. Tears streamed down their faces. And that's when it hit them. The day was finally here. 

"ARE YOU READY?"

The excitement and emotion continued. Through the father of the bride's first look among the muscadines, through Eric's first look down the aisle, through the teary first dances, the cutting of the wedding pies, the PHENOMENAL reception soundtrack and the ribbon exit. We had THE BEST time dancing along! (Seriously, we Shazammed the entire night and listened to it STRAIGHT for the next week!) 

Eric and Julia, of all of the formals we've attended, this was my absolute favorite. Each succulent, each centerpiece, each dress, each bouquet and boutonniere, each hand-lettered box individually and genuinely reflected your heart and spirit (not to forget each and every pie!) Your wedding was as unique and handcrafted as your engagement in the corn maze just one year ago. You've navigated your way through this crazy little maze we call life and have managed to find each other along the way. Julia, my sweet pledge sister, congratulations on your big day! I wish you both the absolute best!
