What degree(s) are you earning? What do you plan on doing after graduation?
I am earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, with a concentration in Public Relation. I aspire to be a brand and Social Media Strategist, as well as a Graphic Designer.
What organizations were you involved in?
I was in PRSSA, Public Relations Student Society of America, as well as the UNCC chapter of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People).
Favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot on campus was probably Prospector because it was close to all of my classes, and some of the food spots were so delicious. I urge everyone to check out Fiesty's (the hotdog place)!
What has been your favorite memory at UNC Charlotte?
My favorite memory at UNCC was having mostly all of my friends in Communication Theory. We were like a tightknit family. Good times.
Most valuable lesson learned during your college career?
The most valuable lesson I've learned in college is to move at your own pace. Don't get caught in the hype of what everyone else is doing, and don't get caught up in other people's seasons. Your time will come when it's right for YOU. Oh, and save your money. Don't spend it all on food, easier said than done lol.
Brianna, you are a bag of tricks! You walk with confidence and ease and handle life LIKE A BOSS. No wonder you own your own business! You have a warmth and courage about you that is like no other. In what little time we spend together at the portrait session, just meeting you for the first time, I know that the best is yet to come (yeah yeah, everyone says that, but truly)!!
