Experience
Boudoir
Like Never Before.
I have a deep appreciation for the beauty of the female form, which is why boudoir and maternity portraits are two things I will never stop doing. These moments aren't just reserved for weddings; they're a celebration of your unique journey and your authentic self. Let's embrace every part of you, from the graceful moments to the beautiful imperfections, like stretch marks and surgery scars, which are a testament to your incredible story and resilience.
My complete in-person boudoir experience includes 90 minutes of coverage — all in the comfort of your own home. This gives you plenty of time to vary your outfit and play with different poses (whether on the bed, couch, kitchen, shower, etc). No, that’s not a typo. The kitchen is a great spot for some cheeky shots! The only decision you need to make is whether or not you would like to add backdrops. You'll receive access to a Pinterest-style online gallery showcasing expertly retouched, high-resolution digital images. With the rights to share on social media, unlimited downloads on all your devices, and the freedom to print your cherished memories at your preferred location — you'll have everything you need to celebrate your unique beauty and journey.

“Vika is the best! I was a little nervous going into the shoot, definitely stepping out of my comfort zone. Vika was so sweet and encouraging, I felt so comfortable with her on the shoot. She had the best pose suggestions and brought the best energy to the shoot. The pictures turned out amazing, I could not be happier! Highly recommend Vika, you wont regret it!”

Typically either at your residence or at a hotel/rented “peer” space. At your residence, I would recommend investing in white sheets/comforter for the optimal look. Honestly, all you need is a large window and we are ready to go!
If you do book a hotel, it would be a good idea to team up with a bestie who is also interested in this type of session to split the cost, to pregame and to cheer each other on! Some besties do their sessions together, over a glass (or bottle… or two) of wine. If that’s something you are not comfortable with, I would suggest still splitting the cost of the room, but scheduling your session with me at separate times.

Anywhere from Nordstom to Victoria’s Secret to Shein to Amazon and anywhere in between. I have also had clients bring props like handcuffs, military badges and ties/shirts/jerseys of their significant other.
I would also recommend bringing heels to elongate your legs in photos and a satin or sheer robe for an added oomph! I do have multiple things you are welcome to borrow as well — just let me know what you’re dreaming of!

Not unless you give me written permission to. As you can imagine, these photographs are very intimate and personal. Typically these are also surprise gifts for weddings, birthdays, Valentine’s Day, etc. Privacy is my number one priority! Sneak peeks and final galleries are delivered, privately and in a password-protected gallery.

I’m all about loving the skin you’re in and appreciating you just the way you are. I do small things like teeth whitening, blemishes and minor spot retouches.
I do not do any kind of photoshopping to alter body weight, hair volume, facial structures, etc. Once you see your final gallery, you may choose to retouch 10 images, at no additional cost. Any additional retouching will be at a cost per photograph (it takes a while to do)!

The short answer is that I would highly recommend hiring a professional to do your hair and makeup. It’s one less thing on your plate and I have lots of go-to professionals that I can refer you to. I would also recommend that you get your nails done, just for that extra touch!

Totally up to you! I think the backdrops give a more editorial look, but it is not necessary. This is a great option if you have a lot of walls that are covered with decor or don’t have/want to invest in neutral-colored sheets and curtains.
The backdrop stand does take up a good amount of space, so please make sure you have enough room to accommodate if this is something you would like to add.

I have a vintage-aesthetic instant film camera that you are welcome to borrow. You are welcome to a roll of film (10 instant photographs) to use during your session! Keep them for yourself or tie them in a ribbon to add to your gift, if you plan on gifting this to a significant other. We can also use this as a prop in your session! ;)
