What degree(s) are you earning? What do you plan on doing after graduation?

I will be earning a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. I have a summer internship here in Charlotte and am continuing on to graduate school at Penn State University in the fall to earn my Masters of Architecture.

What organizations were you involved in? 

I have been a member of AIAS(American Institute of Architecture Students) all four years, secretary of Freedom by Design(a design build community service branch of AIAS) this entire year, and co-president of Bridge(an organization that aims to bring students in the College of Arts and Architecture).

Favorite spot on campus and why? 

There is a spot in the Storrs building I love. It has a big wall of windows and the sun shines in everyday casting different shadows. I walk by it to class everyday.

What has been your favorite memory at UNC Charlotte?

Beaux Arts Ball every year, which is a themed dance hosted by AIAS open to students in the College of Arts and Architecture. Last year it was a masquerade and this year it's Roaring 20s.

Most valuable lesson learned during your college career? 

Don't be afraid to put school work aside to enjoy time with friends and fun opportunities.
