Annie Jaeger | 49er Graduate | UNC Charlotte | Charlotte, NC
What degree(s) are you earning? What do you plan on doing after graduation?
I’m earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Biology. After graduation I’ll be moving back home to Cary. I’ll be working at Duke University Hospital on the cardiothoracic surgical intensive care unit after taking the NCLEX.
What organizations were you involved in?
I was an active member of UNC Charlotte’s Association of Nursing Students organization. I am also a member of the Gamma Iota Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Int.
Favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot on campus is the courtyard between the College of Health and Human Services and the College of Education. It’s just such a pretty area and I’ve spent a lot of time just sitting on the benches relaxing between classes.
What has been your favorite memory at UNC Charlotte?
I’ve had so many amazing memories at UNC Charlotte past four years. One of my favorite memories was my first snow day at UNCC my freshman year. I lived in Lynch Hall and a ton of my friends and I all used our recycling bins from our dorm room to sled down the bridge behind the Student Union.
Most valuable lesson learned during your college career?
The most important thing I’ve learned these past four years is to take advantage of all the opportunities presented to you. College is so much more than just the grades you get in class but the experiences, connections and friends you will make.
Annie Annie Annie, you are SO full of life! And energy! My goodness, I had so much fun during your portrait session. You definitely found your calling, because any patient would be lucky to have you!!
