Molly Twiss | 49er Graduate | UNC Charlotte | Charlotte, NC
What degree(s) are you earning? What do you plan on doing after graduation?
I am earning my degree in communications with a concentration in Public Relations. After graduation I’ll be staying in Charlotte and looking for full time work so that I can pursue my dreams for working with the Carolina Panthers or New York Giants.
What organizations were you involved in?
I was involved in Sigma Kappa, during my three years as a sister has taught me so much and it was one of the most beneficial decisions I ever made. Without my sisters and my sorority I don’t think my time here at UNC Charlotte would have been the same.
Favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot on campus would have to be the upstairs of SOVI, it was so cozy and quiet especially living in South Village instead of being in the library I would study upstairs. The fireplaces were a plus.
What has been your favorite memory at UNC Charlotte?
My favorite memory at UNC Charlotte is Greek Games! I loved participating in tug of war and watching all the organizations during Airband were one of my favorite parts of Greek weekend. Another memory is when I spent an all-nighter in the library with my friends and we were so tired and stressed but we still managed to have fun, I have a video of them cat walking to The Cheetah Girls song Strut.
Most valuable lesson learned during your college career?
The most valuable lesson I learned is a hard one. I had some awesome professors who taught me so much and made me fall more in love with my major everyday. I think the lesson that I’ll keep with me is one that we learn very young: Teamwork makes the dream work. Especially in PR because you're always working with a team.
Molly -- keep dabbing, girl! As long as you keep dancing through what life throws at you, you'll be just fine! #dabonem You're a hoot! Congrats on making it to the finish line and good luck with all of your future endeavors. You did it!!
